Hi guys, we had a very busy day yesterday, 55 report-ins in 2 hours so we are well into it. Just remember that if you are unsure about any Summer Reading details, just let us know and we will be happy to help you out.
So far, it seems that more and more girls are reading action and adventure stories, as opposed to the normal fairy book influx, and that the "Beast Quest" series by Adam Blade is very very popular with a lot of readers. I can safely say that "Star Wars" is still supreme for many of the boys.
Some new series that you might want to check out are "Battle Boy" by Charlie Carter, "Gladiator Boy" by David Grimstone and the "Glitterwings Academy" by Titiana Woods.
And finally, the new Geronimo Stilton novel has arrived - "The Kingdom of Fantasy". Reserve it now!
Catch you around, Ross

Agree! Had really positive feedback from a SR participant about Gladiator Boy - if you're into gladiator action from the ancient world this is for you. I'm interested to know if the author's name is really 'GRIMSTONE'... or is this another collective pseudonym like many others. Either way it is very apt! Just seen the new Geronimo Stilton book - "The Kingdom of Fantasy" - looks amazing! Hardcover, great graphics and little bit longer than the standard Geronimo books - great for those who want extra cheese! R
