Dive into books

What an awesome day it was yesterday - the first report-in day for Dive into Books the Summer Reading Programme for 2009! What a buzz it was to meet so many new faces and to get reacquainted with Super Diaper Baby (great toilet humour and even more so with Captain Underpants in tow!). I was also intrigued by another episode in the adventures and trials of brother and sister team Charlie and Lola - aren't they just superb sophisticated children's picture books by Lauren Child! By the way, in my triple somersault attempt (by the way I am soooo not a diver!) there was no bellyflop entry into the water - I am hydrated and ready for all the new twists and turns I'll experience today in the stories you share.
